What do you do?
I communicate with retail buyers and consistently meet buyers’ product & shipping requirements. I oversee sales orders from receipt to delivery – sole responsibility for production details and complete execution of product inventory reports, sales reports, shipping/routing & product inventory reports. I build and maintain strong relationships with department store buying teams, retail management, and licensing brands. I am responsible for updating factory, artwork, and specifications/requirements for each account. Also, I process new account and maintain existing customer-vendor compliance.
What advice do you have for students to make the most out of their Wade College experience?
Take the advantage of the resources provided from Wade to build your network. Having the right connections can give you a competitive advantage after graduation. Also, do not take the material taught in classes for granted, even if you think it is unrelated to what you want/plan to do in your future. It is important to soak up as much as you can while you have the opportunity.
How did your education at Wade College prepare you for what you are doing today?
Attending Wade showed me that I have the capability to accomplish any realistic goals I set for myself, and how to be effectively resourceful.
