What do you enjoy most about your field?

I enjoy every step of the process of creating a garment and then seeing it on client. It is a silent language that says so much about the person.

How did your education at Wade College help prepare you for what you are doing today?

One of the things that helped prepare me was the constant reminder of the importance of networking and it goes hand-in-hand with putting your designs out here for people to see.

What advice do you have for students interested in your field?

We all have unique ways to design our garments. Stand by our work and own it. Be proud of your design style and keep pushing it until your master your techniques.

What opportunities, decisions, or events shaped your professional life?

Opportunities that shaped me include being a part of the Levenity team, my decision go to Wade College, starting my brand during my time as a Wade College student, having the grand opening of my first store, and being able to create garments for famous people such as Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan.

What are some of your proudest accomplishments?

Earning my Bachelor’s Degree, being an assistant designer for a project for Beyonce’s custom jacket and for a shirt worn by a popular Mexican rapper Santa Fe Klan.
