What inspired you to pursue your degree and major?
What inspired me to pursue my career in Fashion Design is how I want to change the fashion industry's views on how plus-size fashion should look. As well as making a difference in these women’s lives through their clothing.
What is your career goal?
My career goal is to have a plus-size clothing brand.
How is Wade helping you to pursue your career goals?
Wade has helped me pursue my goals by having courses that truly teach you about the industry; as well as giving me opportunities to work many jobs in the fashion industry.
What are some of your most memorable moments so far while a student at Wade College?
One of the most memorable moments during my time at Wade was the 60th-anniversary fashion show! It was such a wonderful experience to design a collection with a group of friends and to have it walk down the runway was a dream!
What advice would you give to a brand-new student?
To any new student, I would say just KEEP GOING! It’s worth it!
What do you think makes Wade College different than other colleges and universities?
Wade is a school where I truly feel like you can be your authentic self and that is amazing. I have made some lifelong friends at Wade and loved so many parts of my college life.
