How has working markets helped shape your education, skills, experience, and/or career goals?

Working market has shaped my education by learning the back-end process of what it takes as a wholesaler to put their merchandise forward. As for my skills, you learn to sell for the target audience on-the-spot and listen to the needs and wants of the buyers. For the experience, market helps you see that being in wholesale is more than just your local boutique getting merchandise but learning how to sell to everyone and making those forever relationships.

What advice would you give students seeking similar opportunities?

The opportunities are out there. Market yourself well and don’t be afraid to network. Always keep an open mind.
